Flying to Alaska
The night that Sharon left Drew ran and got his shoes so that he could go with Grandma on the airplane. One of his favorite things to play now is that he is "flying to Alaska". Sometimes it is to see Grandma or Grandpa and the puppies and other times it is to see Tae, Kai, and Maddox. For some reason he always tips the chair over for the "airplane."

Andrew's Birthday

Andrew's Second Birthday
I really can't believe that my little boy has already turned two! We had such a fun day. Drew found his presents first thing in the morning, we really didn't have the heart to make him wait to open them. We started the morning off with pancakes and opening presents! He enjoyed every minute of his day. It is sad to be so far away from everyone, we would have loved to have more of you celebrate this special day with us!
We are very proud of the little boy that Drew is becoming. He has a very sweet side to him and enjoys sharing and is concerned about those around him. We are so glad that he is our little boy!

Drew loved having Grandma Whitney here for his birthday! She really made him feel special!

He has been talking for the last few weeks about how he is big enough to blow the candles out by himself this year. He was pretty proud that he was able to do it!

Suns Game

Dave got a call from his boss last week asking him if he had plans for Saturday. We figured he was going to have him work on Saturday so what a surprise it was when he told him that he had tickets for Dave and Drew to go to the Suns game! Now to understand the importance of this event you have to know that the Suns have been Dave's favorite basketball team for a long time and if you can imagine an opportunity to take his little boy to his first basketball game! Drew was really excited! He didn't really understand what he was doing but he new his Daddy was taking him somewhere. We thought that he might make it through a portion but we never would have guessed our almost two year old son, who can't sit still for 10 minutes in sacrament meeting, would be able to enjoy a whole basketball game!
Drew waiting for the tickets. He had a blast running around this area!

I couldn't believe how grown up my little boy is when I watched this clip! He is growing so fast!

Drew and Daddy watching the Suns!

He was exhausted, he was out within a few minutes of leaving the arena.

Halloween 2009

Halloween 2009

I bought a batman costume for Drew but he has been so excited about football lately so we went with a football player. He will sit next to Dave and excitedly repeat "buttball" over and over. Then he will say "touch down", it is pretty cute. It kind of makes you proud.

We took him to the ward trunk or treat. He didn't really get the point of it. He would try to eat the candy every time someone put some in his bucket

He had the most fun just running around and dancing! We are so proud of him. He is growing up so fast!

Family Home Evening Cookies

Family Home Evening Cookies

For our activity we made cookies. Drew loves to "help" cook so he was pretty excited to be such a large part of making the cookies. He also liked being close enough that he could grab a chocolate chip every once in awhile! Dave always has a dish towel on his shoulder to wipe his hand on it when he cooks. Wanting to be just like Dad, Drew insisted on having one too!

For some reason every time that we told Drew to smile he had to shrug his shoulders. I must say he is pretty adorable!

That's our boy!

Here is a little video clip. He realized I was recording what he was doing at the end and he had to smile!

Potty time

We bought Drew a little potty and some new "Cars" underwear. He is so excited he has to wear them all the time! Yeah, we are still working on it!
